Q: My Mom is scheduled for elective surgery of a hip replacement. Can I make arrangements for her rehab stay prior to her surgery?
A: Yes. Patients are encouraged to tour Abigail House and notify our admissions director prior to surgery.

Q: My Mom only speaks Spanish. How will she communicate and be at ease during her stay?
A: Abigail House staffs many dedicated bilingual employees who eagerly interact with our Spanish speaking residents, ensuring they have a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Q: My Dad has dementia. I am concerned he may leave the facility on his own.
A: Abigial House has a secured wanderers’ locked unit for the benefit of our residents who need extra supervision.

Q: We live in Camden but do not have a car. I am anxious to visit my Dad at Abigail House. What can I do?
A: Abigail House pays for transportation for family members of Camden residents 2x a week.

Q: What are the conditions you treat?
A: The list is extensive. Some of our more common treatments include:

  • Hip or knee replacement
  • Post-stroke care
  • Post surgery care
  • Wound care
  • Cardiac care
  • Diabetes management

Q: What should I bring for my rehab stay at Abigail House?
A: Comfortable clothing are needed to be worn during therapy time as well as appropriate shoes.

Q: What are the visiting hours?
A: Visiting hours are from 8-8 daily.
